Love is in the air !

Hello parents!
Wow, it's only the first week of February and it feels like its middle of march already!

February is such a busy month for us, it's the African American History month and we have been talking about that in our classes. It is also Valentine's day soon! Last but not least, it is president's day soon as well right after Valentine's day.

quick reminder, if your child is sending home a valentine, please DO NOT put any names on the envelop! It makes it much easier for us to pass them out :) Thank you for our cooperation.

This week we learned about the letter /n/. Next week, we'll learn about the letter /m/.

In Maria's class, we spent time learning about presidents as well as famous African-Americans. We will continue this unit until the end of February.

In Florita's class, we are continuing with subtraction equations as well as continuing with the graphs.

Please remember to review with your child at home, especially with the stories that are coming home!

Thank you for all your help!
- Fanahi, Floriata, and Maria :)
